The command FAST switches the clock frequency of the Processor from 1 MHz to 2 MHz. This deactivates the 40-character screen mode and graphics and text output is only in 80-character screen mode. The FAST mode with the 2 MHz clock of the processor can be terminated again with the command SLOW.
