About me[edit | edit source]
I had profile information here but you aren't allowed to see it so here's a picture of kawaii Donald Trump instead:
just kidding, I wouldn't force you to look at a picture of Donald Trump.
C64 games I used to own (until the console blew up)[edit | edit source]
- Wizard of Wor
- Music Composer
- Dig-Dug
- Gyroscope
- Rainbow Islands
- Jack Attack
- Jupiter Lander
- Something which had the Invade-a-Load game on it... you were this ball trying to turn all these isometric squares a certain colour while being chased by a helicopter-type thing... anyone know the name?
There are a few others I can't remember the name of.
Article's I've created[edit | edit source]
- Scarabaeus - This one's finished, pretty much. Big thanks to Jodigi and Camailleon for their help.
... that's it.
Shout Box[edit | edit source]
Welcome to our C64-Wiki. We hope, that you write some more articles... Very good work for writting the new game article Scarabaeus. For easier working you can use images and some translated text of articles of the German C64-Wiki.de But misunderstand that the international C64-Wiki.com has got her own profil and the articles doesn't must be identical. Thank you very much and Happy New Year 2010 --Jodigi 21:39, 1 January 2010 (CET)
- Hey, Jodigi. Don't worry, I'm writing all my articles from scratch. Thank you (and Camailleon, too, if you're reading this) for your help with it. =) Mattykins 22:45, 1 January 2010 (CET)
- No problem - all beginnings are difficult and we had all a rusty start. At the first time you get a lot of help from several c64-wiki-authors or -admins. Often it is easy to look the source code (text) of existent articles and use code fragments for own articles. For some articles we have a lot of templates (look here), which are help by writting. I hope, ypu will have a lot of fun with us. --Jodigi 20:57, 2 January 2010 (CET)
Hi Mattykins,
also from me a very welcome to the C64-Wiki! As you might have noticed, there is a lot of work to do and I hope you can help us out a bit :). I thank you for your first article and I am looking forward to the next one you will be writing ;-). Hope you don't mind me asking you to insert each new article with its number into the section "Game article update" Portal:Games/New_Games on our Games Portal - so we are up to date in what number we can use for the next game article we create. You can also look at the templates where we e.g. have some images for joystick movements (Template:Joy) which can look quite nice in game articles. Happy New Year! --Camailleon 23:13, 1 January 2010 (CET)
- Thanks, Camailleon. There are a lot of articles I have in mind. The next one will probably be Wizard of Wor; scared the bejeezums out of me when I was a kid, but I loved it all the same. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the joystick images, I've used those and some keys as well, and I'll remember that New Game list for next time. Hope the New Year treats you well. =) Mattykins 18:24, 2 January 2010 (CET)
One last thing I would like to suggest :) (sorry about that chatting here on your profile page). You can go to the forum (which altogether is a German one but has an extra English part for the English wiki - this is where the link in the navigation on the left goes to), create a new thread and try to describe the games your looking for (as much information as you can) but don't know the name of there. Maybe there is someone who can help you, as there are many members of the forum who like guessing games from a description (and some of them can write and understand English very well)! --Camailleon 20:31, 2 January 2010 (CET)
