From C64-Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to searchNote to anybody wanting to write about REU's, back in the day ca. 1990 RUN Magazine did a lengthy article on the RAM Link and RAM Drive with a great deal of information.

ambiguous use of "REU"[edit source]
the article fails to clearly explain what "REU" means and uses the term for two different things. the correct way would be:
- "REU" means "RAM Expansion Unit", and it refers to _any_ kind of RAM Expansion. References for this can be found in eg GEOS
- the REC based RAM Expansions are called "RAM Expansion Module". they are _NOT_ called "REU" nor "RAM Expansion Unit". References for this can be found in the manual.
it'd even make sense to move the details related to the REC based "RAM Expansion Module" into a seperate article with that name - just like it has been done for eg GEORAM.
