Future plc (formerly: Future Publishing Ltd.) is a British company that publishes a large number of magazines covering various topics, including computer games, technology, film and photography, published in the United Kingdom, Australia and the USA. The company was founded in 1985 and had a daughter company based in Munich called Future Verlag until it closed in 2001.
Future Publishing Ltd. published the following computer magazines with reference to the C64:
- Amstrad Action (October 1985 - June 1995; first published magazine)
- ACE (Magazine) (October 1987 - June 1989)
- Commodore Format (January 1990 - October 1995)
- PC Gamer (since November 1993)
- PlayStation: The Official Magazine (September 1997 - December 2012)
- Official Nintendo Magazine (February 2006 - October 2014)
- Retro Gamer (since November 2016)
The German company Future Verlag published some German-language computer magazines:
- Power Play
- Video Games
- PC Player.
