Hi, I am psionl0 (my actual name is "Greg").
I have been writing programs for the Commodore 64 ever since the 1980s when I first got a C64.
My most ambitious project was a subroutine coded Forth which I substantially completed except for an editor and means for a file storage and retrieval. (I still have the code).
Over the years I have learned a great deal about C64's BASIC interpreter. A lot of this knowledge came from "Compute!" magazine articles. This magazine is still online so at some point in the future I may provide links here to some of the more useful articles. For the time being, I have been mainly interested in showing how advanced programming techniques could be used on the C64. Serious programmers who want to write games or data bases may find this useful and you can find links to what I have written in the BASIC section.
I no longer have a C64 machine but I have a VICE emulator on my laptop. I still like to program the C64 whenever I feel nostalgic.
Thanks for providing a platform where I can share what I know about programming the C64.
