Hello Friends of the C64,

the C64 was my first computer, that I bought at the age of 14. At that age I also dreamed of a Prologic DOS Classic or a Dolphin DOS, and only could afford a 64er DOS.
I love that machine.
Nowadays, I am a doctorated computer scientist and work in the IT-business since the early 1990s.

I still own one (including some spare ones) including the flopy 1541, and some additiona hardware: 1571, 1581, FD-4000, Datassette, SuperCPU, CMD-HD and a RAMLink.

My software backup machine is a i486/100 DOS 5.0 laptop, connected using a X1541 cable (X1541 and XP1541).

The main OS I use are JiffyDOS, Prologic DOS Classic and the orginal; in that order.

As a 'new' standby main device I also have a C64 Reloaded MK2 that really works fine.

Main purpose of the installation is programming in assembler (main 'compiler' I use is profimat), but I also develop in basic. I am also using Geos.

There are two main events per year that I usally attend: the XcentriX and the VCFe, which I am a founding member of.
