One of the oldest Commodore User Groups is the Tornto Pet Users Group (TPUG) in Toronto in Canada, which was founded in 1979.
It is the longest continually operating Commodore users group in the world. The club supports all Commodore computers including the PET, SuperPET, CBM B and P series, VIC-20, C64/SX-64/C64C, C128/128D, C16, Plus/4, C65 and all Amiga computers as well as the COMAL, CP/M and GEOS environments.[1]
The club has got some newsletters or magzine published like TPUG News or The TORPET (1980-1984), TPUG Magazine (1984-86), Transactor, The Newsletter (1988), TPUG News Update (1991) and TPUG Newsletter (1988-2017).
The club is the organizer of The World of Commodore in December.
One of the famous members was Jim Butterfield.
