Printer

A printer is a device which prints text and graphics to paper.

There are various methods and the following types have been used:

• Dot-Matrix Printer, they are most commonly used with the C64.
• Uni-Hammer Printer
• Thermal Printer, used to be relatively popular, are hardly used today.
• Type-Wheel Printer (Daisy-Wheel)
• Ink-Jet Printer
• Laser Printer
• Also mentioned: Plotter, for printing out drawings and graphics using drawing pens.
• Multifunction Printer: A compact device consisting of a printer, scanner and fax.
