Nibble

Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Nibble (earlier: Nybble), also named half-byte or tetrae, is a unit of information storage composed of four (4) bits. Two (2) nibbles form one byte.
A nibble represents decimal values 0 through 15 (hexidecimal 0-F) when interpreted as an unsigned integer.
