The High Voltage SID Collection is primarily a collection of computer music played on a SID chip (a MOS Technology SID 6581/8580 SID), which is built into the Commodore home computers: C64, C128 and CBM-II series. Its secondary purpose is to collect old computer music and preserve it for the future.

The HVSC website also contains links to SID players for many operating systems, including Windows, MacOS and Linux etc., as well as details and documentation on the SID itself, its background and much technical and other information.
